has an immediate opening for an

Coordinator, Mass Communications Planning  

The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University).  It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University. 

            The Coordinator, Mass Communications Planning is responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling for mass communications on behalf of all University of Illinois units. This position coordinates plans, schedules and required data between units and Foundation resources. They will work closely with UIF Advancement Services staff in the communication and scheduling of marketing efforts, including: mail; email; phone; text and other channels and the University Annual Giving teams and University units to prioritize, create, and update plans and schedules for marketing efforts, system-wide.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference given for degrees in business, marketing, communications, and information management
  • Minimum of two years related working experience
  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities and coordinate work to meet deadlines

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project management experience and/or analytical experience
  • Familiarity with University of Illinois structure and advancement activities
  • Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn new applications and databases
